This project was one that came together so seamlessly! The starting point was this incredible Sandberg wallpaper, which sets the mood for the entire space. I wanted to keep a strong ‘tone on tone’ colour direction with tons of white and grey, but loved the idea of juxtaposing it with hints of rattan and pops of warm colours. We went with a very light ‘abc’ theme by adding in some fun artwork, a machine washable rug from Lorena Canals and a fun book library on display for easy access. From a functional perspective, we did a full wall of toy storage using IKEA units. I love these particular ones because the various bins make it so easy to keep smaller toy collections neatly organized. We also wanted to set these boys up with a nice workspace area that they could grow into and added a fun blackboard to spark their creativity! This space is now a laid-back and inviting room the entire family can enjoy together; it’s as easy as A, B, C.
