This nursery was in dire need of brightness, function and FUN. My Clients already had so many great pieces, but they just weren’t working together cohesively. We completely transformed the space by freshening up the wall colour, installing this wonderful paper boat wallpaper and selecting additional furniture and accessories that would really pull together a bright coastal vibe. The room now has a beautiful bookcase to display and store toys and accessories, a fun acrylic book ledge library, some large toy bins and tons of textural wall decor pieces. We added a swan paper mobile above the crib, and I love how it floats gracefully in front of the wallpaper. Also, the various shades of blue that were sourced for the space add so much depth and tonality. Simplicity is always best conveyed when designing a space with purpose, and that’s just what we did. The result? A delicately coastal room that is calming, serene and perfectly practical for its’ sweet little resident.
