Pink, pink and more pink — this was the brief for this sweet floral little girls room. We started off with a very cute pink nursery which essentially just needed a glow up to make it more functional for a growing child. We maintained a similar colour story and focused on a new room layout and furnishings that completely elevated the room. It’s a space that’s equally functional for a 3 year old, as it will be down the line for a teenager.

Once the space planning was all planned out, we started sourcing products! We chose a dainty floral wallpaper to create a focal point with the new double-over-double bunk bed (which is basically sleepover heaven)! We added an 8 foot bookcase to display lots of collectibles, books and toys, found the perfect spot for my favourite pink corduroy bean bag and brought new life to an existing dresser with new wooden knobs.

To balance out all the white, we layered in some rattan accents with a birdcage style ceiling light, cylindric table lamp, a small stool for dolls and some floor baskets. We also opted for birch wood book ledges instead of the standard white ones to add some contrast against the stark walls! I adore the tone on tone approach we took with the bed linens — the warm clay colour for the sheet set pairs so beautifully with the light pink cotton duvet cover set. And what about this stunning rug… it’s plush, cozy and the perfect shade of peachy pink to tie the whole room together. I adore the floral decorative cushions and felt ball garland that we layered in as well; it’s all about those thoughtful details that come together to help evoke a feeling!
